PSI is not an employment agency. We produce job fairs and job boards to connect employers and candidates. Diversity means everyone so don’t feel left out.
To best utilize PSI check our Diversity Job Fair schedule for an event in your area. Be sure to register & upload a resume at
www.NAACPJobFinder.com (a job board open to all candidates) and/or www.GreekDiversity.com (open to members of Kappa Alpha Psi, Alpha Phi Alpha, Omega Psi Phi, Phi Beta Sigma, & Iota Phi Theta). This will help you keeping touch with employers who are actively recruiting and who value diversity.

PSI career fairs are an important and useful strategy for successful job search. In a world of online sourcing, job fairs give recruiters and candidates a chance to meet face-to-face. It can make all the difference in helping you standout from other online applicants.

PSI has some suggestions to help you succeed at our job fairs:
1. Define yourself: Know who you are. Don’t expect the employer to give you a job if you can’t define what you do. If you seek a career change be specific in terms of what you want.
2. Do Research: Most employers are required to have you to apply online. Best you do so prior to the job fair. When you arrive you can ask about the jobs that interest you.
3. Network: Network with other job seekers. Staying in touch will expand your search network.
4. Get there early: Don’t be rushed. Take your time.
5. Ask The Recruiter: If the employer has nothing available ask for other employers the recruiter can recommend. Its part of expanding your search network.
6. Be Presentable: Business casual is your safest bet.
7. It May Happen Later: Once you apply the right job it still may take some time. In the meantime don’t stop looking.
8. Use Job Boards: Use the job boards associated with the PSI job fairs.
9. Bring a Friend: Share the experience and notes with someone in a similar position. They may find something you need to know.
10. Resume: Be sure your resume has your skills and experiences, and account for your time between jobs. Cover letters are not so important. Have more than 1 resume if you have multiple talents.

When attending a PSI event we recommend also recommend registering at our Job boards. NAACPJobFinder www.NAACPJobFinder.com is the sponsor of all the PSI NAACP Diversity Job Fairs and an employer resource for talent. Use the job board for previewing many of the jobs featured at the Fair.

Visit often. Many jobs at NAACPJobFinder cannot be found elsewhere.
PSI also sponsors GreekDiversity Job Fairs as part of the 5 historically black fraternities Kappa Alpha Psi, Omega Psi Phi, Alpha Phi Alpha, Phi Beta Sigma, and Iota Phi Theta annual Conferences and Grand Chapter Meetings.
